The Combination for Perfect Balance
A completely new IEM design was needed for a wider frequency range, realistic reproduction, and a perfect balance.
To achieve this, PATHFINDER has a new Dual-Diaphragm Balanced Armature (BA) Driver from Knowles for the key part of the midrange, two BA drivers for high frequencies, as well as two dynamic drivers with hybrid diaphragms that create bass and midrange.
A Radial Venting Acoustic Chamber, newly developed by Campfire Audio, is applied to the two Custom 10mm Dynamic Drivers. The 3D-printed chamber design naturally expresses the intense low-frequency sound produced by the two dynamic drivers while preserving the unique sound of the BA driver.

Compared to a traditional BA with a single, larger diaphragm, the all-new design incorporates two chambers, each housing its own diaphragm and drive rod actuated by a single coil, resulting in a higher, more powerful output for its size than any other BA and is excellent at expressing a warmer and more natural midrange.

Custom Beryllium Copper MMCX connectors are more resilient against wear and tear than regular brass connectors, providing a robust mating mechanism; one that is typically made from soft brass.

โดยในครั้งนี้นับว่าเป็นการร่วมมือกันพัฒนาหูฟังใหม่ที่มีชื่อรุ่นว่า PATHFINDER นั่นเอง ซึ่งเจ้า PATHFINDER นี้มีราคาค่างวดอยู่ที่ 75,900 บาท วันนี้เลยจะมาเขียนให้กับทุกท่านได้อ่านกันว่ารุ่นนี้มีความน่าสนใจอย่างไรบ้างสามารถเลื่อนอ่านได้ทันทีหรือจะคลิกที่รูปก็ได้เช่นกันจ้าาา
การออกแบบรูปลักษณ์ภายนอก
PATHFINDER นั้นมีการผสมผสานกันระหว่างปรัชญาการออกแบบทั้ง Light & Shadow ของ Astell&Kern และการดีไซน์ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของ Campfire Audio จึงได้ออกมาเป็นดีไซน์แบบใหม่ที่เรียกว่า Mountain Peak นั่นเองครับ
ตัวถังของ PATHFINDER นั้นเป็น Precision-Milled Aluminum มาในโทนสีดำผิวสัมผัสแบบด้าน ส่วนบริเวณ Faceplate ที่เป็น Mountain Peak นั้นมีวัสดุเป็น Stainless Steel ครับ
ส่วนตัวขั้วต่อนั้นยังคงเป็น MMCX แบบ Beryllium Copper ที่ขึ้นชื่อเรื่องความทนทานอยู่แล้ว ทางด้านท่อนำเสียงนั้นก็เลือกใช้เป็น Stainless Steel และทั้งหมดนี้เป็นงานประกอบด้วยมือโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญของ Campfire Audio ที่ USA ครับ
ผสมผสานไดรเวอร์ใหม่และเทคโนโลยีอย่างลงตัว
รอบนี้ PATHFINDER ใช้ไดรเวอร์ข้างละ 5 ตัวด้วยกัน โดยจะแบ่งเป็น 2 Dynamic, 3 Balanced Armature ครับ นอกจากนี้ยังมาพร้อมเทคโนโลยีใหม่ของทาง Knowles อย่าง Dual Chamber Balanced Armature ที่ใช้คอยล์เดี่ยวควบคุมไดอะแฟรมแยกสองตัวช่วยให้ได้ Output ที่แรงกว่าเดิมและให้เสียงกลางที่อุ่นและเป็นธรรมชาติมากกว่าเดิมครับ
อีกทั้งยังควบรวมเข้ากับเทคโนโลยีอันเลื่องชื่อของ Campfire Audio อย่าง 3D Printed Interior ที่ครั้งนี้เรียกว่า Radial Venting Technology ที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาใหม่ทำให้ไดรเวอร์แบบ Dynamic ทั้ง 2 ตัวนั้นมีพื้นที่เปิดเพื่อระบายอากาศทางด้านหน้าได้ อีกทั้งยังช่วยให้ตัวไดรเวอร์นั้นตอบสนองได้ไวและช่วยให้ได้รายละเอียดของเสียงต่ำไปจนถึงเสียงกลางที่ชัดเจนเปิดเผยมากขึ้นครับ
อีกส่วนที่ไม่พูดถึงคงไม่ได้เพราะเป็นอีกหัวใจสำคัญในเรื่องคุณภาพเสียงเลยล่ะครับ นั่นก็คือเทคโนโลยี T.A.E.C. (Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber) ที่ถูกออกแบบห้องเสียงมาเพื่อให้มีพื้นที่ว่างหน้าตัวไดรเวอร์ และสามารถส่งย่านความถี่สูงออกมาได้โดยปราศจากความหยาบกร้านของเสียงส่งผลให้ได้ย่านเสียงสูงที่ฟังได้สบายไม่ล้าหูเร็วครับ
ซึ่งเทคโนโลยีบวกกับฝีไม้ลายมือในการจูนเสียงร่วมกับทาง Astell&Kern นั้นทำให้ PATHFINDER เป็นหูฟังที่ให้รายละเอียดสูงมาก ๆ รุ่นหนึ่งของวงการเลยล่ะครับ
ครบทุกรูปแบบมาพร้อมสายมากถึง 3 เส้น
ด้วยความหลากหลายในการใช้งานของนักเล่นหูฟังในยุคปัจจุบันที่มีอุปกรณ์ที่หลากหลายทำให้ทาง Astell&Kern และ Campfire Audio นั้นตัดสินใจมอบสายหูฟังมาให้เลือกใช้งานตามความสะดวกและอุปกรณ์ของผู้ใช้งาน
โดยจะให้เป็นสาย Silver-Plated OFC Copper Litz ที่ดีไซน์ออกมาในรูปแบบของสายแบนที่ช่วยลดในเรื่องของการพันกันของสาย โดยสายทั้ง 3 เส้นที่ว่านี้จะแบ่งเป็นแจ็คแบบ Unbalanced 3.5, Balanced 2.5, Balanced 4.4 ครบ ๆ เลยล่ะครับ
เปิดเผยทุกรายละเอียดของเสียง
PATHFINDER นั้นจะมาในโทนเสียงที่ออกไปทางสว่างนิด ๆ แต่ก็ไม่ถึงกับสว่างจ้าสะทีเดียวเหมาะกับการจับคู่กับเครื่องเล่นและ DAC/AMP ที่ให้โทนเสียงที่หนานุ่มหน่อยหรือติดอุ่นหน่อยก็ได้ครับ
โดยในย่านเสียงต่ำนั้นจะให้เบสเด่นย่าน Middle Bass มาก ๆ มีแรงปะทะที่แน่นถูกวางตำแหน่งให้อยู่ลึกลงไปด้านล่างคุมโทนดีมวลเสียงไม่ทับกับเสียงนักร้องและยังให้เนื้อเสียงเบสที่ชัดเจนดีมาก ๆ ครับ ส่วนเสียงฟาดกลองนั้นรู้สึกได้ถึงความชัดเจนครับแต่อิมเมจเสียงตอนฟาดลงไปนั้นไม่ได้ใหญ่โตอะไรมากนักครับ
เสียงนักร้องนั้นได้อิทธิพลจากไดรเวอร์ Dynamic จึงให้เสียงร้องที่มีตัวมีตนให้สัมผัสได้ง่ายดาย เสียงร้องจะมีความอุ่นเล็กน้อยเก็บขอบเสียงให้เนียนสมูทเวลานักร้องขึ้นเสียงสูงนั้นจะไม่รู้สึกเสียดหูหรือพุ่งปรี๊ดจนต้องขยิบตาครับ นอกจากนี้เวลาฟังเพลงที่มีเสียงคอรัสจะสามารถโฟกัสเสียงที่สอดแทรกเข้ามาได้ดีทีเดียว
เสียงสูงหรือเสียงแหลมของรุ่นนี้จะให้น้ำเสียงที่สะอาดสะอ้านมีประกายที่ละเอียดทีเดียว เสียงฉาบแฉทอดตัวได้กำลังดีไม่ห้วนและไม่ลากยาวจนเกินไปแสดงให้เห็นถึงความปราณีตในการจูนเสียงเพื่อให้ฟังเพลงได้เนียนหูฟังได้นานครับ
เวทีเสียงนั้นจัดอยู่ในระดับกลาง ๆ พอ ๆ กับหูฟังในเครือของ Campfire Audio รุ่นอื่น ๆ แต่มีการมุ่งเน้นไปที่การวางตำแหน่งชิ้นดนตรีที่ดูมีเลเยอร์ที่ชัดเจน คือมีความลึกความตื้นของเสียงที่แม่นยำตามตำแหน่งอย่างที่ควรจะเป็นครับ
เข้ากันได้กับทุกอุปกรณ์
นอกจากนี้สิ่งที่ทำได้ดีเยี่ยมอีกอย่างนั่นก็คือไม่กินกำลังขับมากนัก สามารถจับคู่กับเครื่องเล่นเพลงพกพาขนาดเล็กรวมไปถึงสมาร์ตโฟนธรรมดา ๆ ที่กำลังขับไม่สูงมากได้ทันที ทำให้ PATHFINDER นั้นเป็นหูฟังที่ฟังกับอะไรก็ลงตัวครับ
โดยน้ำเสียงที่ผมฟังแล้วมาเขียนถึงวันนี้นั้นผมใช้อุปกรณ์ในการฟังเป็น iPhone ด้วย Apple Music แล้วต่อด้วยหางหนูธรรมดา ๆ ของ Apple และสายที่เป็นแจ็ค 3.5 mm เท่านั้น แค่นี้ก็รู้สึกได้ถึงความดีงามของเสียงที่ทาง Astell&Kern และ Campfire Audio ร่วมกันทำออกมาแล้วล่ะครับ ส่วนเพลงที่ใช้ทดสอบนั้นมีดังนี้ครับ

ซึ่งหากใครที่มี DAP คุณภาพดี ๆ อยู่แล้วและฟังกับช่อง Balanced ไม่ว่าจะ 2.5 หรือ 4.4 ก็สามารถให้น้ำเสียงที่แตกต่างออกไปจากนี้ได้อีกมาก ฉะนั้นสามารถเข้ามาทดลองฟังด้วยตนเองกับอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้งานอยู่ได้เลยครับ ผมมั่นใจว่ายิ่งได้ฟังกับอุปกรณ์ที่ดีกว่านี้จะช่วยยกระดับรายละเอียดของเสียงออกมาได้มากกว่าชุด iPhone ได้อีกมากเลยล่ะครับ
สรุป
นับว่าเป็นหูฟังอีกรุ่นหนึ่งที่นอกจากจะมีความพิเศษในเรื่องของการร่วมกันระหว่างสองค่ายยักษ์ใหญ่แล้วน้ำเสียงที่ได้นั้นเรียกได้ว่าให้รายละเอียดสูงและฟังติดหูได้ง่ายมาก ๆ และยัง Overall เข้ากันได้กับเพลงทุกประเภทเลยล่ะครับ
